KRALENDIJK – Het grootste Amerikaanse reistijdschrift ‘Condé Nast Traveler’, heeft de nominaties voor het jaarlijkse ‘Readers’ Choice Awards’ (lezersonderzoek) aangekondigd. Bonaire is genomineerd in de categorieën ‘Islands’ en ‘Countries’. Bovendien worden Kralendijk en een aantal accommodaties op het eiland erkend in de categorieën ‘Cities’ en ‘Hotels & Resorts’.
Deze jaarlijkse awards zijn de langstlopende en meest prestigieuze erkenningen van topkwaliteit in de reisbranche. De winnaars van het lezersonderzoek van het tijdschrift ‘Condé Nast Traveler’ zijn geselecteerd op basis van de stemmen van lezers en worden gerepresenteerd als het beste van het beste. Ook leveren ze reisinspiratie op voor avontuurlijk reizigers die hun volgende reis plannen.
“We zijn enorm enthousiast om de aanwezigheid van onze hotels en het eiland te zien bij de nominaties van dit jaar,” aldus Derchlien Vrolijk, afdeling Marketing bij Tourism Corporation Bonaire (TCB). “Dit is een geweldige kans voor de bevolking van Bonaire om het lokale toerisme te ondersteunen, vooral op dit moment, waar wij het het meest nodig hebben. We verzoeken iedereen om zich te registreren en te stemmen op Bonaire. Dit zal de zichtbaarheid van Bonaire helpen vergroten en dient als een bewijs van onze belofte om een unieke Caribische ervaring voor reizigers te bieden.”
Om te stemmen, ga je naar www.cntraveler.com/rca/vote. Je kunt voor Bonaire kiezen uit de categorieën: Country, Islands, Cities (Kralendijk) en Hotels and Resorts. In de laatst genoemde categorie kun je kiezen uit Divi Flamingo Beach Resort & Casino, Captain Don’s Habitat, Plaza Resort Bonaire, Piet Boon en Harbour Village Beach Club.
Elk geregistreerd of ingeschreven e-mailadres komt één keer in aanmerking om te stemmen. Je kunt stemmen vanaf nu tot en met 31 mei 2021. De resultaten worden in oktober 2021 op www.cntravel.com bekendgemaakt en
gepubliceerd in Condé Nast Traveler’s annual Reader’s Choice Awards november 2021 editie.
