ORANJESTAD – Een overleden passagier op de het cruiseschip ‘Seabourn Ovation’ mocht dit weekend niet van boord gebracht worden vanwege corona aan boord.
Het aanleggen van cruiseschepen met coronabesmettingen is sowieso niet toegestaan, maar zaterdag werd een uitzondering gemaakt om een arts aan boord te brengen. Die stelde het overlijden vast van de betreffende passagier. Volgens de arts ging het om een natuurlijke dood.
Na het afhandelen van de formaliteiten, voer het cruiseschip weer weg.
