WILLEMSTAD – Dit weekend zijn er ruim 1.700 besmettingen bijgekomen op Curaçao. Er zit een kleine daling in het aantal nieuwe infecties, ten opzichte van vorige week. 273 patiënten kwamen uit isolatie, zodat het aantal actieve cases uitkwam op bijna 9.000.
Het aantal nieuwe besmettingen op Aruba bedroeg dit weekend ruim 1.200. Dat is de helft lager dan de dagen voor het weekend. Bijna 1.500 mensen mochten uit isolatie komen. Daarmee daalde het aantal actieve cases weer net onder de 5.000.
Op Bonaire kwamen er dit weekend 245 nieuwe besmettingen bij. Vijftig patiënten mochten hun isolatie verlaten, waardoor het totaal aantal actieve cases met 80 steeg en nu op bijna 900 staat.
