Bonaire versoepelt COVID-testregime voor reizigers

KRALENDIJK- Het Openbaar Lichaam Bonaire (OLB) is vanaf 16 januari a.s. weer wat minder streng voor reizigers die het eiland bezoeken. 

Vanaf zondag 16 januari 2022 hoeven reizigers bij aankomst geen zelftest meer te doen en hoeven ze op de vijfde dag na aankomst ook geen PCR-test ondergaan.  De strenge reisvoorwaarden werden enkele weken gelegen ingevoerd om de komst van de e omikronvariant  naar het eiland te vertragen. Nu 90% van de besmettingen op het eiland door deze variant wordt veroorzaakt,  is er geen reden meer voor  deze extra reisvoorwaarden.  

Hoog risico

Alle landen worden  vanaf zondag  16 januari 2022 als  hoog risico landen  beschouwd. Alle reizigers uit  hoog risicolanden moeten binnen 24-12 uur voor vertrek de gezondheidsverklaring invullen. Volledig gevaccineerde reizigers uit hoog risicolanden moeten 48 uur voor vertrek een PCR-test doen of een antigeentest 24 uur voor vertrek. Ongevaccineerde of niet volledig gevaccineerde reizigers moeten 48 uur voor vertrek een PCR-test doen.  Reizigers die kort geleden van corona zijn hersteld en nog geen negatief testresultaat kunnen  overleggen, moeten ook een herstelbewijs overleggen. 

De aangepaste reisvoorwaarden maken deel uit van nieuwe regels voor reizigers naar Bonaire.
