Per 1 januari 2021 is het inreisbeleid op Curaçao aangepast. Reizigers hoeven niet meer 14 dagen in verplichte quarantaine bij aankomst op Curaçao. Ook hoeven reizigers uit hoge risicolanden, zoals Nederland en de Verenigde Staten, niet langer toestemming te vragen om Curaçao binnen te komen.
Reizigers moeten wel in het bezit zijn van een negatief PCR-testresultaat dat niet ouder is dan 72 uur voor het moment van vertrek. Ook dienen passagiers een Passenger Locator Card (PLC) in te vullen. Deze maatregelen gelden niet voor kinderen van zes jaar en jonger.
Voor de terugreis naar Nederland moeten passagiers opnieuw maximaal 72 uur voor de vlucht een PCR-test ondergaan. Sinds 29 december 2020 eist Nederland een negatief coronatestresultaat bij binnenkomst.
Maximale hoeveelheid passagiers afgeschaft
Daarnaast is de maximale hoeveelheid reizigers die Curaçao mogen bezoeken afgeschaft. Voor de jaarwisseling gold er nog een maximum van 20.000 reizigers per maand. Met dit besluit stimuleert de Curaçaose overheid luchtvaartmaatschappijen hun regulieren vluchten op te pakken en weer aan te bieden zoals het geval was vóór de pandemie.
Cruisepassagiers worden nog niet toegelaten op Curaçao.
